A note from Dianne

Dianne is a North Carolina native with more than 15 years of experience supporting individuals and families across outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and residential treatment settings. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from UNC–Wilmington and completed her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wake Forest University.

Dianne has extensive experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, domestic abuse, divorce, parenting challenges, and major life transitions. Her clinical foundation includes specialized work in residential eating disorder facilities, where she utilized Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in both individual and group settings.

Grounded in a holistic and individualized approach, Dianne integrates Person-Centered Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. She strives to balance mindful awareness with a genuine, empathic therapeutic relationship, collaborating with clients to identify meaningful changes that reduce emotional and behavioral distress.

Dianne is committed to empowering clients by expanding self-awareness, strengthening coping skills, and fostering resilience. She believes that people inherently possess the strengths, values, and abilities needed to overcome challenges, and views her role as helping clients reconnect with those internal resources. Through cultivating self-evaluation, acceptance, and compassion, Dianne supports clients in creating lives that feel more grounded, fulfilling, and aligned with their goals.
